The story

Short links have a trust problem: you never know where one leads, and the services behind them either rot away (taking millions of links with them) or paywall the basics. tosho.my started with a simple bet — that a link shortener could be safe by default, genuinely free, and permanent, by building lean on modern edge infrastructure instead of burning venture money.

What we believe

• Safety is the product. Every destination is screened at creation and re-scanned for as long as the link lives. A tosho.my link should be safer to click than the raw URL.
• Free means free. No paywall, no premium tier, no ads, no "your plan has expired". The architecture costs almost nothing to run, and that saving is passed to you.
• Privacy by design. We count clicks, not people. No visitor IPs, no fingerprints, no cookies for anonymous users.
• Links are promises. They never expire and are never deleted for inactivity.
• Good tools are honest. When something is technically impossible (like seeing sales on a store we don't run), we say so and build the honest version instead.

Next up: a fully multilingual tosho.my — because creators everywhere deserve tools in their own language — richer analytics, and deeper (always cookie-free) conversion insights for creator–brand partnerships.
